Our Holistic Retreat
Optimum Health Institute (OHI) offers a variety of courses that promote deep healing and personal growth. Each program element is designed to support your physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Our calm, natural setting in San Jose enhances the retreat experience, allowing for true transformation and renewal.
Physical Health
Our detox program is a key foundation of the retreat, helping participants release built-up toxins while renewing energy and clarity. We take a whole-body approach to cleansing that includes food, movement, and mindful support.
The nutrition plan features a plant-based, raw food diet that’s rich in nutrients and supports the body’s own detox systems. Guests enjoy organic fruits, vegetables, juices, and teas that are chosen to aid cellular healing and balance.
The retreat also includes light physical movement such as yoga, stretching, and guided breathwork. These practices improve circulation, promote lymphatic flow, and support overall wellness. Daily mindfulness sessions help you stay grounded throughout the process.
Educational workshops further empower guests with the knowledge and tools to maintain a healthy lifestyle after leaving the retreat. From the science of hydration to fasting techniques, our classes are led by experienced instructors who offer practical, personalized guidance.
Mental Health
Mental and emotional wellness is an essential part of your healing journey. At OHI San Jose, our mental health sessions are tailored to help you navigate stress, anxiety, and emotional imbalance through a compassionate and holistic lens.
You’ll engage in supportive activities like one-on-one coaching, group sharing circles, and mindfulness techniques that strengthen emotional awareness and resilience. The sense of community creates a safe space where healing and trust can flourish.
Nutritional therapy plays an important role in stabilizing mood and boosting cognitive function. Our menu is designed to support brain health, and our workshops teach you how food can directly influence mental clarity and emotional stability.
Stress relief, self-regulation techniques, and personal growth topics are covered in depth through expert-led sessions. These tools will help you continue to nurture your mental health long after the retreat ends.
Spiritual Health
Lasting transformation comes from nurturing the spirit. At OHI, we focus on spiritual growth through practices like meditation, gratitude, and prayer, helping guests discover a deeper connection to self and purpose.
Although rooted in a non-denominational Christian tradition, our retreat is open to people from all faiths and backgrounds. What matters most is your willingness to explore and grow in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Our spiritual classes are designed to help you rediscover joy, peace, and alignment in your life. Whether you're seeking clarity, inspiration, or comfort, our program offers the tools and space to guide your spiritual journey.

What Guests Are Saying
From the staff, excellent program, and the wonderful grounds, OHI is where I go to reset and heal. The friends you make last a long time. This was my first time to the Austin campus. I had been to San Diego twice before. I think Austin is now my favorite. You can’t beat the walking paths. I really can’t say enough. THANK YOU Austin OHI. I had a lovely experience. ❤️❤️
