Our Holistic Retreat
At Optimum Health Institute (OHI), we offer a wide range of classes that promote overall wellness and personal growth. Each one is thoughtfully designed to address your physical, mental, and spiritual health in a peaceful setting ideal for healing.
Physical Health
Our detox-focused classes are designed to support cleansing the body and enhancing natural energy. Through a holistic approach, guests are guided through a plant-based, organic diet rich in raw and living foods that aid the body’s ability to release toxins.
Daily schedules also include gentle movement like yoga and guided meditation to support circulation and emotional balance. Mindful practices such as breathwork, stretching, and walking contribute to a refreshed and energized state of being.
Workshops cover detox topics such as fasting, hydration, and lifestyle practices for maintaining wellness long after your stay. Classes are led by compassionate instructors dedicated to helping you reach your health goals with clarity and confidence.
Mental Health
Our mental health offerings focus on emotional healing through mindfulness, community, and reflection. We provide individual and group sessions that help address stress, anxiety, and emotional fatigue through a combination of therapeutic tools and supportive conversation.
Guests will also learn the impact of plant-based nutrition on mood and cognition, and how food can be used as a powerful ally in mental wellness. Each experience is tailored to strengthen your emotional resilience and help you discover a more balanced mindset.
You’ll leave with tools and practices that support lasting mental well-being—from stress management strategies to mindfulness exercises you can continue at home.
Spiritual Health
We believe that healing the body and mind is more complete when the spirit is also nurtured. Our spiritual classes focus on gratitude, prayer, and personal reflection. Regardless of your faith background, you’ll be welcomed into a space where your beliefs are respected.
OHI is a non-denominational Christian ministry, but our community includes people of all spiritual paths. These sessions offer a gentle, heart-centered way to deepen your sense of purpose and inner peace.
At OHI San Antonio, every class contributes to a full-spectrum experience of wellness, with space to reflect, grow, and transform in a nurturing and respectful environment.

What Guests Are Saying
From the staff, excellent program, and the wonderful grounds, OHI is where I go to reset and heal. The friends you make last a long time. This was my first time to the Austin campus. I had been to San Diego twice before. I think Austin is now my favorite. You can’t beat the walking paths. I really can’t say enough. THANK YOU Austin OHI. I had a lovely experience. ❤️❤️
