Our Holistic Retreat
At Optimum Health Institute (OHI) in Plano, we provide a dynamic blend of classes designed to guide individuals through physical, emotional, and spiritual renewal. Our program is built to nurture the whole person through a thoughtful mix of education, self-care, and mindful living. Set in a peaceful North Texas setting, our Plano retreat offers the space and support needed for true inner transformation.
Physical Health
Our physical wellness program is centered around detoxification, supporting the body’s ability to cleanse and restore itself. Each week, guests follow a structured plan that encourages physical renewal through natural means.
Nutrition plays a foundational role, with fresh, raw, and plant-based meals designed to aid the body in flushing out toxins and promoting cellular vitality. Guests are also offered fresh juices, mineral-rich broths, and herbal teas, which further support internal balance and nourishment.
Daily movement practices—such as yoga, stretching, and light exercise—help stimulate circulation and enhance energy levels. These activities, along with our detox education sessions, empower guests to take an active role in their physical well-being.
Workshops cover a wide range of wellness topics, including the science of detox, mindful hydration, and post-retreat self-care. These sessions are led by experienced instructors who share practical techniques and tools for sustainable health after the program ends.
Mental Health
Our mental wellness offerings are designed to strengthen emotional clarity and calm. Through guided practices, education, and support, participants learn to manage stress, shift limiting thought patterns, and restore inner peace.
The retreat includes both structured and reflective experiences, such as group sharing circles, therapeutic journaling, and one-on-one coaching. These tools are designed to release emotional tension and promote mental flexibility.
Nutritional elements also support brain health and mood balance. Classes explore the connection between food and mental clarity, with a focus on ingredients that naturally boost cognition and stabilize emotions.
Guests leave with a toolkit of mindfulness techniques, breathwork exercises, and stress management strategies they can carry into daily life. Our facilitators create a safe and uplifting space for self-exploration, resilience building, and emotional healing.
Spiritual Health
True healing includes the renewal of spirit. Our spiritual health classes offer a chance to quiet the mind and open the heart through prayer, intention, and connection to something greater.
While rooted in non-denominational Christian principles, our program is open to individuals of all faiths. We welcome diverse spiritual perspectives and emphasize universal values like gratitude, forgiveness, and purpose.
At OHI Plano, daily practices such as meditative silence, intentional prayer, and acts of kindness foster deeper self-awareness and spiritual clarity. Many guests find this aspect of the retreat to be a grounding and transformative experience.
Together, these sessions help reconnect individuals with their inner light and spiritual foundation, supporting a sense of meaning, renewal, and peace.

What Guests Are Saying
From the staff, excellent program, and the wonderful grounds, OHI is where I go to reset and heal. The friends you make last a long time. This was my first time to the Austin campus. I had been to San Diego twice before. I think Austin is now my favorite. You can’t beat the walking paths. I really can’t say enough. THANK YOU Austin OHI. I had a lovely experience. ❤️❤️
