Our Holistic Retreat
At Optimum Health Institute (OHI), we provide a wide range of classes that promote personal transformation and total wellness. Each class is designed to support different aspects of health, offering a comprehensive and empowering experience. Our Houston location provides a quiet and supportive space for rejuvenation and reflection.
Physical Health
Detoxification is at the heart of our physical wellness offerings. Our approach combines plant-based nutrition, movement, and emotional support to help your body release toxins and heal from within.
Guests enjoy a diet of organic, raw, and living foods, herbal teas, and fresh juices—all selected to enhance the body’s natural detox processes. This nutrition plan delivers essential vitamins and antioxidants to support cellular repair and energy renewal.
Daily activities like yoga, breathwork, and meditation help improve circulation, encourage relaxation, and support the body’s healing systems. These practices are designed to enhance clarity and calm, supporting your body’s detox and recovery.
Educational sessions led by experienced practitioners teach the principles of detoxification, fasting, hydration, and long-term wellness. Guests leave with the tools and knowledge needed to maintain a clean and balanced lifestyle after the retreat.
Mental Health
Our mental wellness classes focus on nurturing emotional balance and inner peace. Ideal for anyone facing stress, anxiety, or emotional fatigue, these classes promote resilience and clarity through holistic methods.
Therapeutic experiences include individual support, group conversations, and mindfulness exercises that help you reconnect with your thoughts and emotions in a safe, supportive setting. Community engagement allows for mutual encouragement and healing.
We also emphasize the link between nutrition and mental well-being. Guests learn how food impacts mood and brain function, supported by a plant-based diet that fosters emotional balance and mental clarity.
Workshops on stress relief, emotional awareness, and coping strategies equip guests with sustainable techniques for life after the retreat, helping each person feel more grounded and empowered.
Spiritual Health
Our spiritual wellness classes explore prayer, meditation, and gratitude as powerful tools for healing. These practices are designed to help guests deepen their sense of purpose and inner strength.
OHI is a non-denominational Christian ministry open to people of all faiths and backgrounds. Whether you follow a spiritual path or simply seek meaning, the retreat welcomes all with compassion and openness.
At OHI Houston, our spiritual programming is built to provide space for reflection, renewal, and deep inner work—allowing you to leave feeling reconnected and spiritually restored.

What Guests Are Saying
From the staff, excellent program, and the wonderful grounds, OHI is where I go to reset and heal. The friends you make last a long time. This was my first time to the Austin campus. I had been to San Diego twice before. I think Austin is now my favorite. You can’t beat the walking paths. I really can’t say enough. THANK YOU Austin OHI. I had a lovely experience. ❤️❤️
