Our Holistic Retreat

At Optimum Health Institute (OHI), our wellness programs are built around classes that support total well-being and personal transformation. Each class targets a specific area of health to create a balanced, comprehensive experience. Our Garland location provides the ideal space for reflection, healing, and growth.

Physical Health

Detoxification is a foundational part of our program. Our Garland retreat helps individuals cleanse their bodies, calm their minds, and restore balance through a holistic blend of nutrition, movement, and education.

Our plant-based nutrition plan includes raw, organic, and living foods that support your body’s natural detox systems. Juices, teas, and whole foods rich in nutrients help cleanse at a cellular level while boosting energy and immunity.

Movement and mindfulness practices like yoga, light exercise, and guided meditation help support circulation, lower stress, and enhance mental clarity. These gentle yet powerful activities accelerate the detox process and promote emotional well-being.

Our wellness curriculum also includes educational workshops focused on sustainable detox practices. From fasting tips to hydration strategies, these sessions equip you with practical tools for long-term wellness. Led by experienced health educators, every class is informative, accessible, and empowering.

Mental Health

Our mental health sessions are designed to bring clarity, balance, and emotional strength. These classes are ideal for those looking to manage stress, anxiety, depression, or life transitions in a healthy, grounded way.

Participants are guided through a mix of one-on-one counseling, group therapy, and mindfulness techniques such as breathwork and meditation. Emotional healing is supported by connecting in a safe community space and learning effective coping tools.

We also emphasize nutrition’s role in mental health. Our Garland program incorporates a brain-supportive diet focused on whole, plant-based foods that help regulate mood and improve cognitive function. Nutritional sessions explore the link between food, thought, and feeling—empowering participants to make informed dietary choices that support mental resilience.

Practical workshops on stress relief, thought management, and emotional tools ensure that what you learn at the retreat stays with you for the long term. Our expert facilitators offer both professional guidance and compassionate support.

Spiritual Health

True healing includes the spirit. At OHI, our spiritual wellness classes focus on practices like prayer, gratitude, and quiet contemplation to support inner growth and transformation.

Though we are a non-denominational Christian healing ministry, we welcome individuals of all spiritual and religious backgrounds. Our goal is to help you strengthen your spiritual connection—however you define it.

Classes are designed to help you quiet the mind, open the heart, and access deeper wisdom. Through meditative practices, journaling, and group reflection, you’ll explore your spiritual path in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

At OHI Garland, every element of our retreat is created to help you heal from the inside out—body, mind, and spirit. Begin your journey toward optimum health and personal renewal today.

What Guests Are Saying

From the staff, excellent program, and the wonderful grounds, OHI is where I go to reset and heal. The friends you make last a long time. This was my first time to the Austin campus. I had been to San Diego twice before. I think Austin is now my favorite. You can’t beat the walking paths. I really can’t say enough. THANK YOU Austin OHI. I had a lovely experience. ❤️❤️

"I believe career starts with ‘care’ and feel blessed to bring my profession and passions full circle here at OHI. As a former guest, I saw OHI as a healing refuge - and now get to return the favor. It took 19 years at P&G followed by a career change into health and wellness, but the journey has been invigorating and I’m excited to help others succeed in their own wellness journeys."
